The Lisbon Zoo is the oldest of its kind in the Iberian Peninsula, dating all the way back to 1884. Right in the heart of Lisbon, you can plan a day at the zoo and turn it into a one-day exploration of the entire planet!

Travel the world, without leaving the comforts of Lisbon. Start by discovering the Sumatran tigers in the dense vegetation of the humid rainforest, observe the behavior of lions, giraffes and elephants as they roam the arid African savanna, and be dazzled by the majestic and colorful birds of South America.

By visiting the zoo, you’re also contributing to their mission to conserve some of these wonderful species and their habitats.
